Supporters and Donors Help inDiVisual films reach MATCH funding target!

inDiVisual films is proud to announce we reached our match funding campaign goal for our “Sikh Youth in Australia Documentary,” on May 20th 2016. Raising almost $12,000 in 4 days, the documentary will receive the Creative Partnerships Australia grant of an additional $10,000 for achieving the goal.

Made by a highly experienced, professional, creative and culturally aware team, this documentary will give a voice to Sikh Youth and challenge stereotypes and prejudices. The team includes, Director/Producer Ana Tiwary, Production Manager Barbara Harvey, Cinematographer Barry Nichols.  It is a vibrant, uplifting and inspiring story that brings to light how Sikhs are an important part of the fabric of Australian society.

Featured in the documentary are inspiring young Australian Sikhs some of which are well known such as Sukhjit Kaur Khalsa (Australia’s Got Talent), L-Fresh (hip hop artist) and Gurinder Sandhu (cricket star)

The Australian Cultural Fund (ACF), managed by Creative Partnerships Australia is a collective funding platform for Australian artists encouraging donations (tax deductible) to the arts.  The ACF page which hosts the documentary crowd funding campaign will be active for 2 more months and donors who missed out can still make a tax deductible donation:
